Choco/Matcha-flan

This chocoflan is born from childhood memories, those moments of happiness found in a single bite of cake. Chocoflan is also known as the “impossible cake” because of the way it’s made: both mixtures, the flan and the chocolate cake, are poured together at the same time and baked in a bain-marie. What follows feels almost magical—through a delicate chemical process, the two layers separate as they bake, becoming distinct yet inseparable parts of the same dessert.

Chocoflan is a cake meant to be shared, at birthdays, celebrations, or simply as an excuse to gather with friends. We often make it when someone is feeling a bit low, as a way to show care and support through something homemade. Other times, we make it just to sit together, talk, and share stories.

Storage:
Keep refrigerated. Best enjoyed the same day or the next.
